Coastal Paths

The Rock to Polzeath footpath is arguably one of the most beautiful coastal walks in the country. Covering 2.9 miles, the walk starts at the end of Rock Road and takes around two hours and 30 minutes. From the car park in Rock take the SW coastal path over the dunes, or during low tide walk along the beach to Brea Hill, where you can see stunning views of Padstow, the famous Doom Bar, the quarry and St Enodoc Church where poet John Betjeman is buried. There are plenty of other stunning coastal walks to choose from, and if you’d like to make an informed decision about where to blow away the cobwebs, the SW coast path website is great to help you decide.
