Camel Sailing and Powerboat Centre

The Camel Estuary is the ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts due to its wide expanse and sheltered waters. Camel Sailing School has a wide range of boats to suit all tastes and abilities and has been taking families out on the water since 1958.

Camel Ski School

Just a two minute walk from Mariners Lettings is Camel Ski School. Offering water activities such as waterskiing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding and kayaking, why not take advantage of our coastal location and give one of them a try. With qualified instructors, the sessions can be tailored to all requirements, abilities and energy levels.

Surf's Up! Surf School

Surf’s Up! Surf School is based on Polzeath beach, a ten minute drive from Rock. The qualified surf instructors have been teaching on the Cornish coast since 1995; the school has even been recognised as the number one surf training centre in the UK. There are classes for everyone, from beginners to elite, so there is every opportunity to enjoy Cornwall’s favourite sport.

Wavehunters Surf Club is also located on Polzeath beach, which is known as one of the best and safest surfing beaches in the UK. Wavehunters run a kids’ surf club every morning during the school holidays, teaching the basics of the sport. They also run regular sea safaris, where guests can take in the stunning Cornish coastline and spot plenty of wildlife.

Rock Boat Charter

The best way to view the beauty of the North Cornish coastline is from the water and what better way to take in the scenery, than from the comfort of your own luxury yacht. Hire a skippered charter and explore the Cornish waters at your leisure.

Boats are available to charter for a whole day, half day, or by the hour. An experienced skipper will pick you up from the pontoon in Rock and take you to some of the most secluded locations in Cornwall, only accessible by water.
