Heron

Heron is one of our smallest properties, sleeping four, and ideal for families or a romantic hideaway. Situated near the top of the slipway in Rock, Heron benefits from superb views across the ever changing estuary. 

With a fully equipped kitchen and cosy living areas it is the perfect setting for your Cornish retreat. 

You will find private parking to the front of the building and plenty of storage space in both bedrooms.

Please note: From October 2025 we’re doing some building works at some of our properties. This means there will be scaffolding in place at Captain, Anchor, Port and potentially some construction noise. Please contact us for more information.

Ground floor

The reverse living spaces mean the two bedrooms are on the ground floor. A double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with bathrooms next to them. The stairs then lead into the living area.

First floor

The first floor has a combined kitchen, dining and living area. This is spacious and is a sociable space for families, including a television and and a large balcony. There is also a utility room, which can be used for wetsuits.

Changeover day

Thursdays in peak season, flexible at other times of year.

Check in and out times

Arrival from 4:30pm on check in date, departure by 10am. We offer self-check in and will send you the key box location and a key code seven days before your stay.

Dog friendly

We allow a maximum of two dogs and a charge of £30 per dog applies. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on any chairs or sofas.

All properties have Wi-Fi, accessed using a password.

  • One travel cot (no bedding).
  • One high chair.
  • Stair gates are not supplied.

Terms & Conditions

Short breaks are accepted outside school holidays and half terms, subject to availability with a minimum of a five nights stay. Changeover day is Thursday in the summer, school holidays and half term.

Unfortunately we do not cater for stag and hen parties.

Puffin is light and airy, designed to the highest standard. The open plan living area leads out on to a balcony ideal for relaxing with the papers or, an early evening drink.

Anchor House is situated between Captains and Port with a similar layout. Its contemporary design and large open living area mean there is plenty of space to relax.

Old Customs House

5 Bedrooms (sleeps 12)

The Old Customs House is a luxury period property and the ultimate in coastal chic. Located right on the slipway with stunning views of the estuary you will find it hard to leave.
